Chelsea Football Club is delighted to announce we have agreed terms with Lille for the transfer of Eden Hazard.The 21-year-old Belgian international has agreed personal terms with the club and today passed a medical examination. He will join the club in July when the players return for pre-season training.
Hazard akan menandatangani kontrak selama 5 tahun dengan yuran perpindahan 32 juta. Selain itu, dia dikhabarkan akan menerima gaji sebanyak 170 ribu pound seminggu, menjadikannya salah satu pemain bergaji paling tinggi di Stamford Bridge.

Hazard pernah dihubungi oleh dua beradik Manchester namun dia lebih memilih Chelsea atas sebab mahu kerap beraksi di kesebelasan utama. Tambahan pula, Chelsea baru sahaja menjuarai Champions League, maka faktor tersebut sememangnya menjadi tarikan utama pemain berkualiti seperti Hazard untuk sertai kem kita. "Saya datang ke Chelsea untuk menang trofi" (ini ayat Hazard yang paling menepati objektif & sinonim dengan motif Roman Abramovich membeli Chelsea)
Hazard yang merangkap sebagai pemain terbaik Ligue 1 musim lepas akan turut serta dalam pramusim bersama Chelsea pada bulan 7 nanti.
